Creative labs sbo460 know this is abit old, but davcon is totally wrong the SB is an X-fi Platinum and is not a cheaper rebranded Audigy card. I did have a problem after Windows 7 came out with drivers but within a few months Creative came out with updated drivers and software.

Good sound quality but prone to hardware failure. Worth Your Time? Before I built my new computer I had this thing in a p4 1. Its like your really there. Cons: I have had problems with crackling and popping that would stay until I restarted the PC.

Thought it was the hardware. My friend had the same problem and told me to update the drivers.

Did that and problem persisted. I think it has to do with registry cleaners messing up the registry. I switched reg cleaners and haven't had a prob since.
